Thiruvananthapuram:- Also known as Trivandrum, the city has a host of tourist attractions that are worth visiting and the clean and serene environment makes the whole experience a truly memorable one. The city has many museums, places and wildlife sanctuaries that are a must visit for anyone travelling to Trivandrum.

Kovalam Beach:-Kovalam lies only 16km away from the city. Soft white sands, emerald sea and swaying palms make for an ideal destination for those who love sun, sand and surf.
PadmanabhaSwamy Temple:-The presiding deity is lord Vishnu reclining on a large serpent that is ‘Anantha’. Stone carving and murals adorn the temple.
Napier Museum:- This 19th century structure displays a rare collection of archaeological artefacts, bronze idols, ancient ornaments, a temple chariot and ivory carving.
Kanyakumari:- Kanyakumari, an excursion from Trivandrum is land’s end of India or the point where the three seas meet. Places of interest in Kanyakumari are Trisamudram (Cape Comorin), Vivekananda Rock Memorial, Tiruvalluvar statue, Gandhi memorial.
Alappuzha (Alleppey):- Also known as “Venice of the east”. Alappuzha is famous for its backwater, beaches and lagoons which are absolutely synonymous to paradise. Once can also take a houseboat stay here Kumarakom, Kollam and Poovar are other backwater destination in Kerala.
Thekkady:-Thekkady is a famous for its Periyar wildlife sanctuary which house some exotic species of birds, animals and plants. It is also an important trade centre and exports a variety of rare Indian spices. Thekkady is famous for its tea, coffee and pepper plantations.

The Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary:- Lying close to the plantations in the rich jungles of Periyar in Thekkady is one of the world’s most fascinating natural wildlife reserves- Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary. This is the only sanctuary in India which offers the unique experience of viewing wildlife at close quarters from the safety of a boat on the lake.
Kumily Village:- This spice plantation village is just 4 kms away from Thekkady. It is an important shopping and spice trade centre.
Munnar:-Munnar is one of the most beautiful hill stations of Kerala. It is located at the converging point of three mountain tributaries namely Mudrapuzha, Nallathanni and Kundala. The highest peak of south India lies in Munnar and is called Anaimudi. Munnar is famous for its tea gardens and plantations.

Mattupetty Lake:-Mattupetty Lake and Dam lie 13 kms from Munnar. The Lake and Dam surrounded by wooden hills and tea plantations makes for a great view.
Kundala Dam:-Kundala Dam is an artificial reservoir located at Kundala which is 20kms from Munnar. A narrow road on the top of the dam gives a panoramic view of the catchment area. The reservoir has boating facilities.
Tea Museum:- A museum exclusively for tea was openend some years ago by Tata Tea in Munnar. This Tea Museum houses curios, photographys and machineries, all of which have a story to tell on the origins and growth of tea plantation in Munnar. The museum is located at the Nallathanni Estate of Tata Tea in Munnar and is worth a visit.
Kochi ( Ernakulam):- Popularly known as the Queen of the Arabian Sea, kochi has been an important link to the rest of the world since ancient times, thus one can find a cultural in the place. From time, Arabs, Chinese, Dutch, British and Portuguese seafarers followed the sea route to Kochi and left their impressions in the town.
Places of tourist interest in Kochi :- Are Chinese Fishing Nets, Dutch Places also known as Muttancherry Palace, Jewish Synagogue.

Athirapally:-Athirapally is famous for its waterfalls. It is 80 kms from Cochin.
Guruvayoor:-Guruvayoor is located 29 kms west of Thrissur. It is one of the most scared and important pilgrim centres of Kerala. Its main attraction is the Sree Krishna temple. This is the second richest temple in India.
Wayanad:-Wayanad, the green paradise is nestled among the mountains of the Western Ghats, forming the border world of the greener part of Kerala. Located at a distance of 76kms from seashore of Kozhikode. Wayanad also abounds in wildlife sanctuaries.
